You recognize that there’s much more to learn. But, you aren’t quite sure how to develop into a great clinician.
It can be intimidating to think about investing in supervision because of suboptimal past supervision experiences. Yet, clinical supervision is required for you to reach your career goals. Social work school only taught you so much.

A bit about my professional experience:
I am a New York native and earned my MSW at Columbia University School of Social Work in 2008. After graduation, I worked at Bellevue Hospital psychiatric emergency room for several years.
I earned my LCSW in 2011, at which time I was promoted and supervised two of Bellevue’s inpatient psychiatric units. Further, I provided consultation and acted as a social work liaison. While working at Bellevue, I had the opportunity to supervise NYU MSW students in field placements and provide clinical supervision to LMSWs working toward LCSW licensure. I opened my private practice in Manhattan in 2012.
I relocated to Dallas in 2015, earned my LCSW-S license, and promptly opened my private practice. From 2016-2018, I served at the Dallas VA Medical Center. While there, I provided therapy to veterans with substance use disorders and mental health disorders. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work, where I’ve taught clinical practice classes. Further, I have a full time private practice and enjoy guiding LMSWs through clinical supervision. I am passionate about helping mental health professionals obtain their LCSW licenses and reach their career goals.
